The legal order of the Slovak Republic allows you to do business as a self-employed person or through various business structures. Doing business as a self-employed person is the easiest and cheapest way, but it brings a lot of risk, too. A self-employed person is held liable for business obligations with all his assets. A more prestigious form of doing business is to establish a commercial company - a limited liability company, a joint-stock company, a public trading company, a limited partnership or various types of European-type companies. The most popular form is a limited liability company due to the limited liability of the entrepreneur for business obligations as well as the quick and cheap establishment process.

The main reason is the limited liability of partners for the company's obligations exclusively limited to the partners' contribution to the share capital. The share capital does not have to be paid up to the company's account. This form of business is easy to establish. Low costs of establishing and managing a limited liability company are also worth noticing.

Any natural or legal person from any country can be a partner of a Slovak company. Enforcement proceedings cannot be conducted against a partner of a Slovak business company.

That can be done only in person as under the valid legislation, bank account cannot be opened online. Should you be interested, we will send you the documents needed to open a bank account.
